Welcome to the journal

This is not a newsletter in the traditional sense. There is no content calendar behind it and no publishing cadence I am committed to hitting regardless of what I have to say.

Insights will be what the name implies: things I have worked out, or am in the process of working out, about leadership, alignment, and the community behind real work. When something is worth writing, I will write it. When it is not, I will not.

The Alignment Code emerged from a quarter century of building and leading organizations. Most of what I know about leadership came from being inside situations I had not prepared for, making decisions I had to stand behind, and watching the gap between who I was presenting as and who I actually was. The journal is a place to keep working through that material.
